St. Mungo’s
Let me level with you. Selecting our inaugural charity wasn't a walk in the park. We had our fair share of skepticism towards certain organisations. That's why it was crucial for us to choose a charity that we've personally witnessed making a tangible difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals. St. Mungo’s is a perfect example of this. Anyone who works in frontline healthcare in the U.K will know exactly who they are and what they do…. but for those who don’t;
St Mungo's is a renowned charity dedicated to ending homelessness and supporting individuals who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. With their unwavering commitment and comprehensive programs, St Mungo's provides vital services, including accommodation, outreach, healthcare, and education, to empower individuals on their journey towards stable and fulfilling lives.
We have seen firsthand how St Mungo's goes above and beyond to address the complex needs of individuals experiencing homelessness. Their dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide not only immediate support but also long-term solutions, such as counseling, skills training, and access to employment opportunities. Their holistic approach ensures that individuals receive the necessary support to rebuild their lives and reintegrate into society.
Our collaboration with St Mungo's has further deepened our admiration for their work. Witnessing their dedication and tireless efforts has inspired us to take action and support their cause in our own way. Through our charitable raffles, we aim to raise funds and awareness for St Mungo's, enabling them to continue their essential work and make a lasting impact on the lives of those facing homelessness.
We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with St Mungo's and contribute to their mission of ending homelessness. Together, as paramedics and supporters of St Mungo's, we strive to create a society where everyone has a place to call home and access to the support they need to thrive.
Providing a bed and shelter for over 3000 people, Mungo’s was an obvious choice.
Their tag "no one wants to be homeless during a British winter!" rings true for anyone lucky enough to experience our islands climate late autumn to early spring… or early autumn… or some years late summer.
